Yowzah!! Is it just me, or are these seats insanely uncomfortable on your lowwer back?!? If I'm lucky, I only commute 1 hour each way, but my lower lumbar region starts screaming 5 minutes after I climb in to the car! Did I just get a reject pair? They are only power adjustable in one direction - up. I guess if you're really short you can move the seat up or down. But the front and back of the seat cushion don't adjust at all. Just straight up, or straight down. Then you can slide the whole seat straight forward or straight back. Or you can adjust the lumbar which just feels like a log wedged in your spine. Or the reclining motion. But MAN! I've never had these kind of issues with a car... My 79 bronco felt like a cadillac compared to these (but that could be due to the fact that I ended up swapping in some leather seats from a smashed Grand Prix...) Hmmm... I guess maybe I'll have to rob a junk yard and swap in some leather seats....

 

I think the stock buckets in my 97 are pretty comfortable!
Maybe you havent broken them in yet to your body shape.

 

my back kills in a car no matter what, takes 45 mins tho.

the new accord comes with sickly comfortable seats, or at least thats what i heard... chiros cheaper tho.

 

I hate chiropractors.. they're quacks..

anyway, my 03 has pretty decent seats... I communte 1-1.5 hrs one way to work every weekday - feels comfortable enough for me.

 

I think it is you. My seats are great, and never heard any complaints.

 

I've gone on a 5 hour+ road trip in my 2000 LX and my back never bothered me once. Maybe you just haven't found the right seat position?

 

Your probably just one of those people who have back aches when they stay in one position for over 20 minutes. Maybe bad posture?
