Update time!

Had some free time last week, so I decided to retro-fit a 94 rear lip to my bumper. Was a giant PITA to do without removing the bumper. Pretty happy with the end result (excuse my body damage).

Just need to get my dual tip Magnaflow exhaust to fill in the gap.

And I finally pulled the plug on some coilovers. Koni Yellows with Ground Control coilover sleeves, and custom 10k front and 8k rear Stance springs.

My car with the donor car, swapping suspension.

Here are a few pics I snapped today, they're crappy, because its really sunny.
Parked next to my co-worker's stock Accord.

Still probably going to go a bit lower all around. Wasn't able to dial in the ride height last night because it was dark.

Lowered the car some more. Rear is right where I want it. The front needs to go down a thread or 2 to match the rear. Also got my front lip back on.

For the past 2 months or so, I really started looking into wheels. I knew around what specs I wanted (17x8 +35). Gram Light 57Cs would have been my first choice, but I could really only find them in 17x7.5 +42. Not quite what I wanted.

I then turned to 5Zigen FN01R-Cs. They had them in exactly the specs I wanted. I found a couple of local sets, but they came with tires that were too big, and cost more than I wanted to pay. Then, thanks to a friend, I found these.....

Found a guy selling 3 bronze wheels. They are a bit beat up, little bit of curb rash, peeling paint, and just dirty. But no cracks or bends. And for the price, I was cool with it. 2 of them had 205/40 tires, that were bald as fffuuuuuuu.

And by some miracle, I came across a guy selling a single brand new wheel in the exact same specs for a laughable price. It is black, but beggars can't be choosers.

Test fit on one of the 2 wheels with the junk tires on them.

I ended up paying less than the price of a set of used Rotas or XXRs....who said legit wheels are expensive? You just gotta look in the right places.

Plans for the wheels are to color-match them (color is still to be decided). Also, I'm going to run beefy tires all around. Still not sure exactly, but something along the lines of 225/45/17, since function is the main goal here. That's all for now.

Looking good, gotta love getting legit parts for cheap. So are you going to make them all bronze or black?

Last update before my mini makeover......

As I posted before, last week I had picked up 3 bronze wheels and a single black one. Well, a coupe of days ago, I found another pair of bronze ones with good tires for a great deal. So I swooped on those, and sold the black one. So I now have a full set plus a full size spare. And, I now have 6 center caps lol. Its a nice feeling having spares lol.

Getting new tires for the front next week, as well as rolling my fenders and getting an alignment. Here's a quick photo of how it currently sits. Still have a lot to do before CAM.

And the rear wheel gap......or should i say lack of one. Going to get the front to match, after new tires, etc.
