Default new headlights

first thread woohoo!
i'd like to get new headlights, but i don't know what i am looking for. i know i want white light with a blue tint, but what am i looking for? i don't know any of the terminology. can anyone help me out a little?

Headlights housing or headlight bulbs? Ebay for housing or if you want bulbs ddmtunning . Com if you want lights get hids id reccomend 6000k

i assume the bulbs are what would give me the blue tint, not the housings?

yes, the most popular HIDs, aka the bright *** lights, are 6000kevlars, its white with a tint of blue. they look good and help you see better at night. while i have 4500k which is all white, hids are really really worth it.

Kevlars?

HID bulbs with a tempre between 4300-6000 Kelvin offer the brighest light, high you go, the more blue, to purple, to green, to pink you get.

so finch, does that mean blue flame burns around 10000k? i believe the kelvin represents what color something burns at that temperature. or something like that?

thanks. i'll look for some 6000k bulbs.
what about a pair of fog lamps? since there is no place in the stock bumper to mount them, could i just mount them in the lower grill?
