My 94 LX is in need of a new trunk lid, and I am hoping to find a trunk lid with an OEM spoiler on it. I was talking to a friend of mine that worked the parts counter at a Honda dealer for years, and he said I need to check on upgrading the trunk springs if I installed a spoiler. He said they used to sell them like crazy back in the day for people installing spoilers. I am pretty sure my car uses the gas struts to hold the trunk open, is this correct? If so, is there a heavier strut to install for a spoiler installation? Thanks!
