my 91 accord's black bumper thing has like white paint or tape or something and im planning to sand it off, but i am worried that if i sand off too much, all of the black will come off and there will be a different color on the inside

Before I would start sanding I would try some paint thinner or Tar and bug remover or something like that. Just try a little spot on that streak and see what happens. I think I would try that before I would start anything serious.

 

also nail polish remover, be careful not to get any on the paint thou, never know what might happen

Not too familiar with you year accord but isn't that just a peice of molding? If it is, I would go to the honda dealership and just buy a new one if you want to go that route.

 

Get some hi-quality flat black paint?

 

well, for the paint, i would know the specific type of paint and stuff
