Default Rear Wing Spoiler

Hello everyone. This is my first post, and I'm in need of some advice. A week or so ago I purchased a 2007 Accord EXL, Nighthawk Black Pearl 4-dr sedan. The dealer wanted over $500 to put a rear wing spoiler on the car, the only thing I really want to do to it for the time being. I searched ebay and found a reputable company that has a high rating, so I did a buy it now and got it pre-painted for $119 w/ free shipping. The wing came in yesterday, and it looks very good, can't tell the difference between it and the one they were showing me on the cars they had. Now the big question is do I want to attempt to install this myself, or should I take it to a dealer or a customizing place to have it installed? The idea of me taking a drill to a car thats only a week old makes me a lil naucious.

Any ideas would be great!

Thanks!
Justin

hey man sounds like a really nice car. i bought my wing for $20 bucks from a friend who had it on his bros car for awhile so i got a good deal on it. i then took it to an auto accenting place (he mainly does auto decals and special window tinting) but he was a really good and new alot about cars and he offered to put my wing on for $80 bucks. i posted some pics of mine(right now i only have blacks caps filling my holes, which i think you can see in the pics, but you can get someone to cover those better depending on where you go). once you have yours on pm me or post on here bcuz im anxious to see how it looks.
here are my links of the wing

Does the wing have installation instructions? If not, then you can try to find some on the web. Just Google 'car wing installation', or variations of that. Overall, it shouldn't be very hard. I was going to try to type out everything, but then thought a link be better. This will be the process that I will use. Hope I'm not breaking any forum rules by posting this link.

Let me know how it goes!

place the spoiler on your trunk and move it around until it is even on both sides. then make sure the spoiler isnt sticking out too far past the trunk. Use masking tape to mark the areas and then just drill the holes. it shouldnt be that hard, the spoiler was my first mod too.

Having just finished putting on my spoiler from spoilerexpress.com, I'll say it's easier said than done. Placement of the T-Strips is critical, and having a friend to hold the spoiler in place while you center it is necessary. One thing I did extra was to use 1/4 inch shrink tubing and cut off 4 sections about a 1/4 incha piece and place them on the stainless steel screws so when I went to tighten the spoiler down there would be no metal to metal, screw to trunk, thus preventing rusting at that contact.

so i;ve been looking but want to get a soiler from a reputable place, other than the dealer who was charging me 600 dollars for a spoiler. i have an 07 accord coupe. can anyone point me in a direction. i checked out spoilerexpress.com and their prices seemed alright. is this a good place to buy from or coul i do better. i just don't want to get screwed over. i'm from the old saying...you get what you pay for, but i do like to shop for deals. thanks.
