Default Removed my badges BUT...

now i can barely see ACCORD and LX in the paint. im positve all theadhesive was removed.but i havent washedor waxedit yet.

i finished this 30 mintues ago (fyi it was dark) with the assistance of a white led 4d maglite. im hoping this bright, white light (rhyme time) is making it more visable. ill reply to this tomorrow after seeing it in natural light.

i have a feeling the paint has faded around it and the darker tint, if you will, that im seeing is unaltered/unfaded paint? what do you think?

thats what im thinking, the badge protected the paint from getting dirty, chipped, etc. you could just leave it off for a while and wash the crap out of it.

Try the colormatch wax stuff- it's like rubbing compound and wax combined. It might blend it same as the rubbing clay.

Dan, claybar is a very mildly abrasive clay used to fix minor paint problems by scraping a microscopic layer off of the clearcoat. Be gentle with it as you can damage the paint if you are too rough or don't use enough lubricant (spray detailer). I'd use the clay before trying any colormatch product.
