My carpet got ruined in a flood in my 2003 Accord. Carpet kits are available online up to year 2002. Honda quoted me $965 for new carpet. I just want to install some type of decent flooring, preferably for less than $500. It doesn't have to be carpet. Please don't reply with "just steam clean the moldy carpet and put it back in," or "find used carpet at a junk yard." I'm not looking to put a lot of time and energy into a solution that will look like (or smell like) crap.

 

Really? Because I checked their website, found the replacement carpet kits, and none were for Honda.

 

Yeah, I checked them and ACC. They carry carpet kits for Honda Accords up to year 2002 (i.e. no 7th generation Accord). I even called them and they say they don't have a "floor mold" for the 7th gen Accord. Nice try though.


If anybody here is knowledgeable and can steer the thread away from carpet (which doesn't exist for this car) and toward any other flooring options, please do!

 

Interesting the selection stops with the 2002 model year, but I see your point. Offering one more try before the thread steers away from carpet. Although the previous post is a couple months old, perhaps the following link will help, and stay under $500...
