Hi guys I recently bought replacement headlights for my 92 Accord 4 Door and I'm wondering if you guys can give me any tips on how to take em off, and if theres any precaution I should look into i.e removing the Negative Battery Terminal. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks
1) Unplug electrical connectors and bulbs
2) Remove the bumper turn signals by removing the screw, and rotating the assembly out, remove the bulb
3) Remove the grille and front bumper
a) to remove grille remove the 5 screws along it's top and with a flat tipped screwdriver, press down on the retaining clips at the ends of the grille
b) to remove the bumper remove the two retaining nuts located behind and below the headlamps, you can see them by looking down from above the lamps. Thenwith the bumper turn signals removed, look through each you should see two bolts on each side, remove them. Lift up slightly on the bumper and pull it off
4) Remove the lamp turn signals by removing the retaining screw, ifyour headlamp is not one assembly (some92 and 93 models the turn signal was part of the headlamp)
5) Remove the 5 screw holding the headlamp, 2 on top and 3 along the bottom.
You may want to remove the battery andrelocate the coolant reservoir to better get at the right headlamp and right bumper retaining nut, but you don't have to.

OK on schedule for replacing them and when I unplugged the plugs, the turn signal ones are broken so from the looks of it I might need to make a new housing for those two any suggestions? plus since I might have to do it all again wheres a good place to shop for an aftermarket grill?
