Default Seat for big dudes

So I just got a 2005 Accord LX from a family member and it is a great deal but after sitting in it for a while I have come to realize it is a REALLY uncomfortable driver seat. (I am 6'4" 250. Never been a problem in my 94 Accord, which was just totaled) Which is a problem, as I commute about 20 minutes a day. I thought about swapping out this seat for a racing seat but I don't know if those would be any bigger. Any suggestions for a solution?

Racing seats are tight they're mad to make sure when the cars whipping around the driver doesn't move so if you're looking for comfort that's probably not your best option. I would take some measurements and see what you can fit in there and maybe pull a seat from another car if you can make the brackets from the stock seats fit on them

Welcome to the forum, David

Perhaps you've answered your own question when you stated, "Never been a problem in my 94 Accord".... Check out some 'pay & pull' sites for a driver's seat from a 5th generation ('94-'97) Accord. The only issue may be that some modification could be required to install it in a 2004.

As with other features, the seats from generation to generation change; for instance: I found the seat in the 8th generation to be uncomfortable for long drives, while the seat in a 9th generation is comfortable
