shift knob..

Default shift ****..

hey. i was wondering if the shift **** on a 95 accord ex even comes off. ive been trying and trying to get it off, but it wont seem to budge. does anyone know for sure if it does or doesn't come off?? thanks

it does come off. you have to pop the little peice off that attatches it to the boot, (just pull down on it)and then it should screw right off. but just so ya know, changing the boot is a b*tch. you have to take like the whole console apart.

Yeah It comes off. As said above, you need to pop the boot loose. I didn't on my 2000 LX and tore the boot a little bit
You really have to put some muscle into it the first time though. And remember....righty tighty, lefty loosey.

oh okay, thanks man. would i have to change the boot with a new shift ****?
