Tail light tiniting

RE: Tail light tiniting
You'll need to buy some Nightshades which is a special spray on tint made for tail lights. You canfind it on ebay or some people find it at certain shops. One can should be enough for most cars. Also buy some clear coat from home depot or somewhere.
Then remove your tail lights, tape off any area you don't want covered with masking tape and apply several even coats of the nightshades depending on how dark you want them. Wait about 20 mins between each coat. I only tinted the middle part which only holds my reverse lights and extra brake lights so I made it very dark. If you're tinting all the lights you may want to put less coats as to not make them so dark that other drivers can't see them (although mine still shine through like it's noteven tinted). Once u have them as dark as u'd like (I suggest taking them outside in the sunlight and holding them somewhere close to where they will go back in) apply SEVERAL coats of clear coat. (I put 9 coats on)You will most likely have to wait longer between coats, read instructions on can. Then let dry, remove tape and re-install. Failry simple. Some people say you should wet sand a couple times throughout the process, I didn't fnd it necessary.
Do this in a highly ventilated area, i don't want anybody dying cause of me lol.
