Planning on tinting my windows this weekend and i was hoping some of you had an idea on how dark/what kind to go with. Anyone with pics would be greatly appreciated.

The tint shop should have examples. I like between 35% and 20%, but it all depends on the car and film.

 

20% all round.
you also have a legal tint limit you might want to find out what that is.

 

Well,i highly do not suggest,blue..silver or all that messy colors out there tint,looks ridiculous. I like anywhere from 5-20%

 

Im afraid that 35 will be to light and 20 will get me arrested. Is there any in between? Does any one have a pic of a lighter tint such as 35% just to get an idea on a real world look.

That looks really good. It adds privacy yet allows you to see out. But i definatly dont think I would go any lighter. Is there anything between 35 and 20?

 

first off you wont get arrested for tint, if you have dark interior your 35 percent will give a darker feel,

the only reason i got 35% is because its Oregons legal limit and i dont feel like getting a ticket, taking it off, and then getting it put back on.

 

Heres a question that may be asking alot. Any pics with some one in the car im curous what kind of privacy 35% will provide. Sorry and Thanks.

 

JPX, what color is your car? 35% looks really dark on Alec's silver Accord, but on my black Accord it would look a bit lighter. I have a friend who had 15% on her silver Protege and got 3 tickets because her car was silver, she got a black car and the same tint and hasn't gotten one yet...
