Have a 4 door EX (silver exterior with dark grey cloth interior). I would like to tint the four windows and back window. I am afraid that my car looks too much like a "family" car and tint would look silly on it? So, if I decide to do it can anyone reccommend the percentage I should get? I do not want something too dark where I cannot see out at night. Legal tint restrictions are not an issue for the area in which I live. Thanks for any suggestions!

 

go 20% all a round. you'll love it

 

20 % is a good tint...by the way...what part of the world do you live in where the police don't care what tint you have in your window..

id go 20 on the front and 5 on the back 35 or 20 on the rear so cops wont know its as dark when theyre behind u. id also redo the windshield strip with sum pieces of leftover 5pct im glad i did mine haha roll to charlotte NC we keep it blacked out the cops got more things to worry about than ur windows

 

But...you don't want a reason to get pulled either.

 

i didnt even do my bak window im leavn it clear 4 the cops they wont know a damn thing haha i usually hav my fronts down cuz theyre so dark but wen im parked i dont want people or cops lookn in. plus 5 on the bak 2 windows keeps sooooo much heat and sun out haha i never bin pulld

 

I don't think that the fact you own a sedan should even be a factor in
your decision to get tint....I don't think it would look funny at all..
I plan on getting a medium tint on rear three windows only...tint in
front is not allowed in New Jersey,although many have it. I am 56,
so I don't not want to go too dark,for "backing up" reasons-

 

my recommendation? 12% tint on all windows, and black out your taillights. My cousin did it to his car, and his is grey as well. Looks nasty...

 

I have 20s on my silver accord with black interior and it looks good.. and since you dont have to worry about the popo 20s would look great.

 

i have 15% on my 08 sedan in the rear 3 wheels.. because front tint is illegal on front windows.
