i had double limo on my old nissan 720 side windows and rear cab window and the 6" strip on top of windshield and had windshield tinted with 35%... it looked really sweet but i could never see out to back up at night unless i rolled window down and stuck my head out lol , cool looking yes,, practical no...

 

20 % is a good tint.I have 20s on my silver accord with black interior and it looks good.

 

Looks like 20 is the favorite number for that tint..

IMO, a tint looks best when its even all around. If it's illegal to tint the fronts, a heavy tint in the rear breaks up the cars look. So I wouldn't bother.
Looks sleeker and meaner with an even tint.

 

i'd say 35% all the way around... if you wanna tint all 5 windows the same... otherwise... 5% in the back 3 and 40% in the fronts... I like the clean look of all 5 tinted but dont want to hastle with cops here in Los Angeles they nit pick quiet a bit.

 

Can you see out to back up ok with 20% at night? What number begins to make it difficult for night driving?

 

Everybody says 20%.. I say 15% during the day its pretty clear, night time isn't so bad.. I have 15% on my Crx, no problems over here and from my opinion 5% are kinda difficult for night driving.
