I'm planning to get my 06 accord coupe tinted -

To those of you who have gotten your accord tinted, how does the back window look at the top with those dots? The film doesnt stick to the dots so they either need to cut it short or glue over it..ive heard neither solution looks all that great.

What did the tint shop do for your accord in that spot and how does it look?

they tint right over it..if they do a good job you wont see anything that looks bad at all.

 

My tint was through honda factory and yes they did tint over the black dots. It does show tiny little pockets between some of the dots and when i inquired about it they said that its suppose to look like that and I had nothing to worry about. I did inform them that if it peels, they will be hearing from me and I expect another tint free of charge. It didnt look like they were too worried and told me it wont.

I also asked a few other friends about it and they said that its okay and it wont peel. Thats as good as its gonna get.
