Default Whats your guys opinion on LED Strips and HID on Accords?

I have a 2012 Honda accord, i was thinking of putting the LED Strips on (Audi Style) and also Hid lights, what do you guys think? Good or bad idea? will it work?

If so, what are some of the better brands i should be looking at !

TYC makes better headlights. You can add LED strips, I am doing that myself... I like the Audi look as well.

HIDs are always a good upgrade. I'm not sure about the newer Accords but I now a lot of other new cars you'll get a bulb out warning. Perhaps there is a way around it.

In my personal opinion the LED strips look tacky when they are put on cars they weren't meant to be on. But it is up to your personal opinion if you like it or not, if you do, then go for it.

i personally dont like the strips in most cases unless they are incorporated really well. They look good on the audis but like crap on pretty much everything else. It depends on what set you get and HID are always good

My opinion, the strips looks cheap and silly. But that's just my opinion. It'd be cool though if you retrofitted the headlights and essentially added on well placed LED's around a projector or two, somewhat of a custom design.. dual projector, maybe even, replace both the high and lows with projectors..

however, that is a good deal more work than adding LED strips as you likely know..

Default Same here

I have been debating much the same. The problem I am having is deciding on a way to make it look good. I think it would look awful on my 2010 accord because the Orange fog/running light being at the start or end of the chain of LEDs.

I have put HID on older Cars I own and love them.. but on this new of a car.. they are plenty bright and I am not going to mess up mine by putting HID system. not needed

as for the LED lights.. Hell no.. hard to add them to make them look like they are not a cheap add on...

that's my oppinion and you did ask.
