Default Will this be a problem for bigger rims?

I have a 92 accord lx and I was planning on getting new rims soon ,but I think this bar might be a problem. I have stock 15"s on my car now and there is only 1" clearance between the wheel and the bar on both sides. If I install new rims will they rub against this bar?

If you go too big and put on the wrong offset ..they might..check fit at your local tire / wheel store before you buy..If they want your deal they will let you test fit them..
