Default 04 Accord Sound Problem

The sound system on my accord started to intermitently turn off randomly. I would then turn it off and turn it back on and it would work again...Now it won't play music at all. As far as the radio or cd player, the screen and everything displays as though it is recieving input and the cd player continues to go through tracks without sound...cannot find a fuse...any suggestions?

There are quite a few checks that can be performed w/ the Honda Shop Manual. Too many to repeat here.

If you want to diy, suggest going to ebay seller "automanualsource" and purchase his 2003-2006 Accord emanual by download. This will have all the diagnostics. Cost is $21.99.

I moved your post to a more appropriate forum for your questions.

good luck

the 2004 factory radios were made by Alpine, not Honda. and they have been failing on a regular basis. a replacement is expensive.

if you have analog climate control, they make a kit to allow for an aftermarket radio - which is a much cheaper option.
