Hello Everyone, Please help
I have 04 Honda Accord EX V6. The problem is my antitheft alarm goes off every time when it is raining outside and my buttery goes dead too. Also I can hear electric shorting sound coming out of somewhere in the cabin fuse box. Someone told me that I have to change the buttery so I did bought new one but I still have the same problem. Someone also told me that I have to get new fuse box but I’m not sure what to do.
Why do I have this problem when it is raining outside? and why do hear electric shorting sound even I turned off the car and took my keys completely out of the car?
I bought this car used and don’t know the history of it but it has been in car accident before.
Please help

 

If its been in an accident im sure theres is a short somewhere or a wire is pinched.

 

because you have water getting into the fuse box, causing a short. do you still have a cover for the fuse box?

i would try to find out where the water is getting in.
