04 Honda Accord LX Radio Issue!
My 04 Accords radio recently started doing something weird!
At first the head unit would stop all sound coming from the speakers while a CD was playing, radio would work just fine still. And then after a min or two the head unit would say DISC and eject the CD.
The head unit continues to do this at random and every single time. After awhile after ejecting the CD I will attempt to place it back in, and it just shoots it straight out.
Been happening for about a week now,
does anyone know whats going on?
Need more info? Ask, I'll try

The early 7th gen accords have suffered from a poor quality CD player, and unfortunately they are fairly expensive to replace with a factory model that may end up suffering the same fate. You can't replace it with aftermarket since climate controls are integrated.
The most common solution is to add an aftermarket head unit in the pocket below the radio. There are several mounting kits on the market, and they look pretty good. You can power the factory speakers directly from the aftermarket head unit, and they'll sound better with the increase in power. It's also the least expensive option, depending on the head unit you choose.

If you're curious how to get into all these spaces, remove the pocket, etc. check out this installation guide that covers adding a cd changer:
