the jl is not fused according to the website and it does not come with one. i dont really like the idea of something not being fused. the ba comes with a 2 year warranty which is nice where as the kenwood has a one. as far as features they look about the same to me.

The JL will be fused at the battery, no worries there. Back in the day, many amps were externally fused.

The Boston amp is the best bang for your buck.

i ended up with the boston acoustic amp bought it and its shipped, then i had a brain fart while driving realized it had high level inputs, BUT did not have a remote turn on feature. So i have to remove the dash now anyway, oh well. Thats what happens when you look at amps for weeks and change mind a million times. i read direction and they say run remote wire, so now i need a diagram of the factory 2009 accord wiring so i can tap a wire.

pick up a Haynes manual for your car, it will have wire schematics and instructions for access. Mine is very helpful.

Chilton manuals aren't as helpful, IMO.

i wouldnt worry about fusing the wire. a piece of 16 or 18 guage wire should do you fine. and if you go that thick i think you run next to no risk or burning up the wire. and yes you would use the purple to run your remote.

So what type of wiring should i get? i have credit on amazon that i need to use do i get the :

1..D B LINK wire?
Amazon.com: DB Link PK4Z 4 Gauge Power Series Amplifier Installation Kit: Electronics

2.scoche revo pak?

Amazon.com: Scosche Revopak8 8-Gauge Revo Series Single Amp Power and Audio Kit (Silver/Black): Electronics

3..or something like monster cables

Amazon.com: Brand New Monster Cable MPC P300 Bap1000 1000 Watts 300 Series Dual 4/8 Gauge Amplifier Power Kit: Electronics

I will only be running the one 150rms sub and MAYBE a 2nd 150rms sub,so not sure as to what quality of wire to get.

Don't tap the purple.

Factory Amp Turn-On wire, White. Use that for a remote! I never recommend using ignition wires for amp turn-on.

Always fuse the turn-on wire at the source! You are protecting the head unit, not the wire. 0.5A to 1A fuse.

No DB Link, wire is undersized. scosche or Monster is fine.

how would it hurt the head unit if the wire is not fused? that wire is simply pulling power from the wire going to the head unit. it never goes into the head unit.
