I have a 2013 honda accord lx and do not have satellite radio, but want to get it. I was just looking for some advice. Does anyone know if there is a wire harness that will allow me to fully control a dock and play satellite radio from my radio without touching the dock and play unit? I know I can plug the unit Into my aux port, but I want to be able to have full control. If not, does anyone know where I can get an upgraded factory or aftermarket unit that is satellite ready and an exact fit for my car?

 

no, you cannot control a dock kit with the radio.

you would need to get an EX radio and the associated tuner and antenna and cabling. the dealership can probably do it for a grand or so.
