I have a 1995 Accord LX. Are there any newer Honda radios that I can swap into my car that has CD? Since my radio does not have an amp, I'm assuming I'd need to find one that does not need one.

Will a double-din from a later model fit?

be cheaper to get an aftermarket head unit. and better results. you dont need an amp for an aftermarket to work.

 

Yea, after doing a bit of research, I've come to the same conclusion. Now that I see how the original radio is in, I can see that I'll need to buy a mounting kit.

 

if you order from sonicelectronix.com or crutchfield.com it will come with a mounting kit at little or no charge.
