Default 1997 Accord Keyless Entry Installation Help

I have a 1997 Accord and i bought a auto security system. But the diagram is a bit difficult to read

I understand the second plug because it is mainly sraight forward but for the Central lock i don't really get it. The bottom shows diff ways for it to be wires and since i have electrical locks i believe the diagram with the motor is the way it should be wired but im not sure. and what is the aerial pull straight and hand. On the physical part its just a black wire

Please help. Thankss

Welcome to HAF.

I hate electrical issues

I can't really follow what the diagram you posted (2nd page) are trying to describe.

From the manual I have for the 95 Accord - the door locks are controled by the door lock control unit. It switches power and ground between the WHT/RED and YEL/RED to make the locks - lock or unlock.

YEL/RED to power and the WHT/RED to ground and the doors unlock. Switch those and the doors lock.

And the "aerial" - that is the antenna for the system.....it is saying to pull it straight and let it hang.

The door locks are negative trigger for your car, see keep_hope_alive's post # 7 in this link:

https://www.hondaaccordforum.com/for...harness-38805/

Because the door locks are negative trigger, you would follow Figure 1 (negative) in your installation instructions.

You can connect the wires at the C425 connector (optional security system ) to trigger the door locks. The C425 connector is located above the left kick panel. The Blk/Wht wire on the connector pin is for the Lock input and the Orn wire is for the Unlock input. The C425 connector harness leads directly to the power door lock control unit (which is in the front driver's door). By connecting at the C425 connector, you don't have to remove any door panel.

Thanks Soo Much Guys! Also for figure 1 Than It says "Turn on Signal" and Turn off signal would those be wires to that connect to the turn signals coming on and off? when can i locate a easy connection for them?

Also for the engine Cut off feature shown on the circuit. I recieved a small square like relay i believe that has a Yellow, Two Green and one White wire coming out. i dont understand the circuit seems like the yellow from the plug connects to the yellow on the relay but the white goes no where. and the two greens connect the key on and high coil?

Also on my 1997 service manual it shows yel/red for lock and wht/red for unlock?

Thanks for the helppp

The instructions are probably prepared by someone where English is not their native language.

Figure 1 "turn off the signal" probably refers to connecting to the unlock input wire. So probably the white wire from the aftermarket security system gets hooked up to the Orange wire at the C425 connector.

"Turn on the signal" probably refers to connecting to the lock input wire. So probably the white/black wire from the aftermarket security system gets hooked up to Blk/white wire at the C425 connector.

In figure 1, the yellow and yellow/blk wires from the security system would be connected to chassis ground.

My source for the 1997 Accord wiring circuits are more complete and has more information than the service manual you have.

I'm moving your thread to the Audio/Visual Electronics section of this forum, as your thread is more appropriate there.
