How do you get rid of the trunk rattling from a subwoofer? I've searched this question and have yet to find a solid answer to this. Some people say to get dynamat to reduce vibration, but wouldn't that reduce the sound quality? I like to not only hear the bass, but feel it as well, and I feel like dynamat would ruin it. Correct me if I'm wrong.
fyi there aren't two questions because I found the answer to my other question.

the short answer is you are not going to get rid of all of it. there are things you can do to lesson it. it depends on how far you want to go. but you can:
seal the box to the cabin
put some weather stripping around the edge to add more padding
etc.
dynamat does just the opposite. it is designed to improve sound. "flex" is a bad thing. it is the result of your sound waves transfering to the solid and then escaping through your car. the less the metal moves on your car the more bass you keep in. you can never have too much deadner. it improves the bass.
