I recently bought a 2003 Honda Accord Lx. I bought the aux adapter and installed it. It worked fine for like two days until I changed it to fm radio. When i tried to change it back to the aux it wouldnt do anything. Now the cd/aux button doesnt do anything. The stereo still plays cds when i put them in and ejects them but it doesnt let me change it to the aux option so i can listen to the music on my phone. Is the button broken? Is it an easy fix? Can anyone please help?

sounds like an internal problem. no problems inside the radio are an easy fix. you could take it to honda, but that wont be cheap.

you could also check the plug on the back and make sure it is plugged in well. if it is not making a good connection it is possible it could cause a problem.

 

I found the trick. I dont turn on the car all the way. I turn the Key on the ignition on II setting and press the aux button and it worked.

 

maybe when you installed the adapter you tapped the wrong power wire?

The only thing you can do is buy another radio. They have a lot on eBay that are fairly cheap
