i bought a 2004 Accord that came with 2 different keys one key turns the car on and locks unlocks the glove box and trunk is gray, and the other is a black key that just opens the door I bought a new Honda key with fob to just opens the car via buttons but I tried several different times and way to enter programming mode on this car and I've had no luck I tried the ignition switch,multiplex unit,and new master switch I've reprogrammed the master switch and I'm still not able to program the key fob.
I've read that some LXs models didn't come with the keyless entry unit so I'm not sure if that's the case,I've also seen people swapping the keyless entry ECU but I don't wanna have to pay $ 200+ just for this feature.is there a keyless entry unit on this car that I can snag fro the salvage yard?
