2006 Aftermarket Install Kits
I am looking for a kit that actually removes your factory radio but actually looks good at the same time. I hate that one where it moves the climate controls up..

I just think it looks cheap.. Are there any others? I have seen the one where it moves it to the very bottom, but again it looks ridiculous then the car has two radios?
Would like to know if there any other kits, willing to pay a decent amount. Getting sick of fumbling around with CDs after having an aftermarket stereo in my Jeep.

custom dash mounts are done routinely by good shops - start with ABS plastic, add some body filler or fiberglass, sand, fill, repeat, then finish with paint to match the interior.
that said, you could start with the plastic kit then use body filler and some careful sanding to get a better finish, then paint to match. what i don't like about the plastic kits are they they aren't solid. i prefer to use the factory radio brackets that will screw into the ISO mounts on the head unit (single or double din). then make a trim piece around that.
i'm doing that on my Accord. I have the ABS plastic trim ready to be glued to the factory deck opening, then just fill and sand then paint. not sure when i'll complete this as there are several other items higher on the to-do list.
