Default 2006 ipod adapter ? with no xm and no navi

Hello all, I am new to owning an accord and new to this forum. I am trying to install an ipod adapter into my 2006 Honda Accord SE with no navigation and no satellite radio. All I have is the CD/AUX with the 6 disc changer. I would like to be able to scroll through my ipod and selct music from artist/playlist using the factory controls and view them on the display. After researching the main adapters (pac-audio, GROM, PIE, and USA-spec) it seems that in order to do this I need a SAT function on my radio. Is this correct? Are there any other alternatives out there besides scrolling through in direct mode? Is it possible to switch out radios for a factory radio with the SAT feature? Any advice or insight is appriciated. TIA.

You cannot get iPod control from your factory stereo. I'm not sure about the Gps model but i wouldn't doubt it's the same.
