Default 2007 Honda Accord with aux cord??

I recently purchased a used 2007 Honda Accord. It came with the an aux cord coming out the right beneath the radio. I tried to plug up my phone and press the CD/AUX button but it does not work. I took to a audio shop and tried to replace the cord (the car has an adapter also) same thing did not work with new cord. The guy at the audio shop told me it was the button but the CD/AUX button works to play cd. any suggestions??

You should verify where the other end of the cable goes. to use the AUX button an adapter is needed. if it is an ipod adapter, it will have the ipod connector on the end. if it has a standard 3.5mm stereo connector, it is not specifically for ipod. it could also be a FM modulator. the Accord doesn't come with a cable coming out of the dash.

isimple makes several interfaces.

the shop should have known exactly what it was, now to connect it, and how to make it work for your needs, if possible.

if that shop was unable to figure it out, i would try a different shop - one that sells isimple adapters.
