Hi

Noticed that the audio controls including the power button on the 2011 honda accord LX dashboard are NOT working.

Everything worked fine the previous night and the next day when I try to put on the audio nothing seems to be working.

However when I remove and put in a mp3 disc, songs are played and I can inc / dec the volume from dashboard control and the control on the steering

A/C, heat, fan buttons are working fine.

Can someone please advise, help me with inputs.

first thing to check are fuses. the owners manual provides fuse locations.

 

@keep_hope_alive: Thanks for the reply, I am not sure where the fuses are located, need to look at the vehicle manual to figure it out. Will update shortly.

 

@keep_hope_alive: Took the vehicle to the dealer as my accord is still under warranty, and they figured out that buttons not working have no resistance in them and have ordered new head, that will be replaced as soon as they receive it with 'no charge'.

Hope this info will be useful to the other Honda owners.
