92 radio code

92 radio code
on my 94, when iremoved the battery, i had to get the radio code off of the back of the stockradio due to the security code, a friend changed his battery on his 92 accord. would the code be on the back of the radio like my 94? or is there somewhere else he needs to go or do? thank you!
