95 LX Tweeter

95 LX Tweeter
I have a 95 LX, looking to put new tweeters in, however the stock speakers had no tweeters. My friend has a 95 EX V-6, and he has tweeters. Knowing both the cars have the same dash configurations, would mine have the same location for tweeters, but there would be nothing there?

Where are the tweeters in the V6? I don't think Honda started adding tweeters until 98.
Why not buy tweeters and put them in the sail panel (triangular piece near the mirror) or the door panel like everyone else does?

"Why not buy tweeters and put them in the sail panel (triangular piece near the mirror) or the door panel like everyone else does?" That would be too easy, lol.

number 6 is what you're looking for obviously, i thought the "openings" were defrost/AC vents.
finch you're probably right, i'll look into those.
thanks.

Your really much better off buying a real component set than just adding some tweets to the stock speaker. Most tweets just come with a little cap or whatever it is that works like a mini crossover, which is not as good as a real crossover.

They should be... not for defrosting that's for sure. Mose people just leave them and mount real tweeters in a better location... like the ones I listed in my first post. Then it would be very easy to wire in with aftermarket speakers.
