Heres the hull finally pulled from the mold 3 days after laying it up. I havnt buffed it or anything, this is straight from the mold covered in shop dust already. Its still not trimmed yet in this picture. Came out nice and straight. All those hours block sanding the bottom and chines paid off, very straight and smooth.

Heres the deck, not trimmed yet. Has a dated look to it and I dont like the hull to deck fit at all. I need to make a new deck and it will be totally different and fit properly. I may start working on the mono while sculpting a new deck because it will take a while. The mono should go fairly well because its a nice tight fitting boat and a good design. Also a heck of a lot easier to make. The cat is a PITA to trim the excess away from at the front sponsons. The cat is also larger and takes a lot more material. The mono is the purple one I posted pics of earlier. I only need a 2.4 ghz radio, steering servo and water pump and I could run the mono. I would like to take a short video of the boats running and post it on youtube for people to see. My camera can do video up to 19 minutes I believe. I expect the mono to hit 40 MPH with the 27cc SIKK and a tuned pipe.

Heres the latest speaker project available for sale. Its a universal late that holds a pair of 12" subs. Its designed so that you build your own box and add this to the front giving you a custom look. Also allows you to make your box the size you need for your particular speakers. These are made from mat and a layer of 24 ounce roving on the back, like a boat hull is made. Result is very strong. Also these have tons of room for massive magnets,JL W7's fit perfect. The woofer opening is 11 1/8 the most common size.

I countoured these a lot. Adds visual appeal. I also made sure to allow a lot of room for subs with wide mounting flanges and massive magnet structures. These are absolutely ridgid! The woofer mounting flange is 3/4 mdf glassed right in. I left a 3/4 flange on the edge so these slide over your box. I attach these with gorilla glue. If you feel the need the edges are made extra thick so you can counter sink screws for extra security mounting it to the box.

Looks great man, I have never seen a cat anything like that. I love the huge opening in the deck, makes working on it so much easier. In my race mono I have to pull the motor and radio box to do anything.

I understand what you mean. I love the huge cowl too but I dont like the deck fitment. I am going to make a new deck and modify the cowl to sit lower. I started working on the mono today. I wet sanded it for hours making it super smooth, shiny and defect free. I also wet sanded the bottom and got it nice and straight. After hours of wet sanding with 220,320,400,500,600,800,1000,1500 and finally 2000 I buffed it to a mirror shine with aqua buff made for gelcoat. The mono is 51 inches long with a 14 inch beam. I plan on starting to make a wooden building board asap and start making a mold of the deck. I already mounted the canopy on a piece of plywood and will make a mold from that too this week.

I havn't seen a cat anything like this either makes me believe the man I bought the plugs from that these are indeed original and not splashed from anyone else's product. Same goes for the mono,a lot of monos basically look generally the same but this one is not a direct copy of anything else out there. I plan on using the 27cc SIKK in the mono, its a rather large boat and I think it needs the extra cc's.

Heres the original stealth box finished in grey carpet to match the trunk better. The woofer is a 10 inch Kicker CVX,very good match to this box. Remember you loose almost no trunk space at all with this sub. If you want to shake your neighbors house the plates or the black dual 12 box is for you. This is designed to allow a Accord to have decent bass and still carry golf clubs or a full weeks worth of groceries without a problem.

Man if a 10" CVR sounds good in that box can you imagine what a 10" W3 would sound like? Not sure if the box is big enough, a 10" W3 wants a little over a 1ft^3, but there should be enough depth for the driver. If you've got a bit more than 7" then even a W6 would fit in there,

So far this box has sounded very good with every speaker I tried in it. Of course the best part is losing almost no useable trunk space at all.
