Default adding XM to 2011 EX sedan

I just purchased an EX sedan (this is my first post). Unlike Canada's version, it doesn't include XM Radio (only the EX-L does).

Any suggestions on adding XM radio and being able to control from the stock audio system? Also, is there a link to detailed specs (including behind the dash inputs and outputs) on the system that comes with the car?

Thanks.

Jim

good question. with brand new cars, the market takes time to adjust, i.e. interfaces to be tested.

remove the radio and take some pics and post them. the best thing to do is look at it first.

Honda will have all of the detailed information at this point, your dealership should know. Hondapartsdeals dot com has a parts list and exploded view:

my experience with Pioneer OEM speakers is that they are a plastic basket and mount with thin paper or poly cones and thin foam surrounds. basically - what the 70's had to offer. there is certainly engineering in the car - and acoustics engineer has hand in designing the thing - but they don't put much money or weight into it.

typically 4 ohm nominal speakers and the signal is balanced/bridged so both wires are "hot", just out of phase.
