Well they do seem to be real three ways, but I'm not familiar at all with those speakers. Try and see if you can find some specs on them. If you don't amp them, and they are not rated for less than 40w or so, they will sound a bit muffled.

EDIT: And for $10 I would say yes better than stock, but you will definitely lose some bass.

That is prolly the maximum so they are probably only rated for 40w or 50w RMS. For $10 I would do it, although it really won't make a huge difference. All I can really hear from my rears is bass from a bass guitar.

I think Id go for it for $10 myself. Alpine is one of the few companies out there that EVERYTHING they make is good. Id say these wont be the best speakers youve ever heard but they would be ok and better than stock and for $10 you cant really lose. Plus I like the fact that they are REAL 3 ways with a REAL midrange driver. Pretty cool.
