Basically these are the two headunits i'm looking at. Neither have 4-volt outs which was a bit upsetting but i assume the imprint processor would perhaps upgrade those. I just can't decide what the real differences are. Or if there is a better digital media receiver like these alpine decks. Any knowledge from you guys would be excellent.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the IDA decks iPod only with no CD function? I have the 4v preouts and honestly can't tell the difference, but having a dedicated sub preout is a must.

 

yeah its all digital. and since my music is all on my ipod thats what i'm looking for. i've heard he ipod functionality is unparalleled. and yeah both those units have dedicated sub outs
