Default Audio head unit question

We have a 2004 Accord LX. Is is possible to upgrade the OEM head unit stack from the 2004 to the newer version (with dual climate and cd changer) from 2007? Our car does not have the dual climate therefore I am unsure if current wiring in the car will even support that swap.

Thanks!

Thanks. I pretty much though that would be the case. I would like to add an iPhone adapter to the OEM head unit. From experience, what would you recommend as a quality adapter? After a cursory search, there appear to be myriad options but I would like to get one that "works."

GROM audio has been popular. PAC-Audio is another brand. USA Spec is a third.
