Does anyone know if its possible to access the information from the cars black box? I was recently pulled over for a speed that I know I wasn't going, less than 24hrs after buying my new 2017 V6 accord.

I know the black box records all the speeds of the cars, and if I could get access to that I may be able to prove I was going much slower than I was clocked at. Most everything I have found online basically says there's no way for a regular person to access and/or process the information from the EDR.

 

I suspect you are correct and it would require you subpoena the dealer to provide that information. but if you lose it's at your cost.
