Default Bluetooth unit in a 2006 Accord Executive.

Already posted about tis but got nowhere so trying again. Been to local Honda dealer who put car on diagnostic and came up with a fault sode indicating the live feed or the bluetooth steering wheel switch. Was told it couldn`t be the feed as nothing on steering wheel would work. Bought new steering wheel switch from them for around £90 fitted it and still didn`t work!!
Removed new switch and put old one back and also disconnected the bluetooth module from under the dash. Put module back and everything worked again apart from the actual pairing. We`ve now tried 5 different mobiles, including Nokia 2730, Samsung Galaxy SII, HTC and still nothing will pair. Has anyone any ideas? Is it a replacement module and if so, what sort of price? Honda dealers won`t refund me the switch as it`s an electrical component so at this time I`m 90 quid out of pocket and still no ruddy bluetooth....

Frustrating problem! Could be a bad module, but you'd hate to spend more money on a guess. Given that disconnecting and reconnecting made a difference, it points to the module. But it could be install. Where is the module located?

module is located in the centre of the dash just under the centre trim that houses the clock display. Easy to get at and remove, but unsure whether to get replacement or find alternative solution...
