Okay long post and possibly a long shot. I have a 2015 Honda Accord V6 EX-L and my bottom screen is busted and I mistakenly unplugged my battery forgetting this fact. I am not the original owner, but she did leave the instructions to reset it, but I have no way to due to it being busted. IF I were to purchase another oem bottom screen to replace it would I have to have the code from the car that it came off of or would it just be as simple as replacing it and using the code that I’m supposed to with my car. I’m going to contact Honda when I can to see if there’s any way to go about it without having to buy one or if anyone has any suggestions, I’m open to hearing them.
