Default Coin in CD player

Hi,

My kid put a coin in cd player and I heard a sound like coin dropped on a metal may be on the bottom of the box. I am able to play cd.

So, do I need to attempt to take out the coin. I don't use cd player. I use radio or aux.I own accord 2012 se.

Please advice.

Hard to call....if you don't use it very much and it is currently playing CD's I might let it go....but then again, take a good corner in the car and the coin slides and makes contact and shorts out the radio?????

The coin could cause a short and destroy the radio. I recommend removal of the coin.
