Confused on how to get a Pro Install for Sirius Sat
Hi I received a Sirius Sat unit for Christmas and want to get it Pro install through AUX. Not sure if this is possible. I have a 2007 Honda Accord with the stock 6 disc radio. No Navi or XM. I see that I have a CD / AUX button. I’m getting conflicting stories on how to achieve this I asked the guy at Bestbuy and he said there is no way that I have and extra AUX and will have to use the FM tuner. My friend told me that there should be an extra AUX wire in the back of my radio and they can use this to install the unit. I spoke with another audio install store and they said I will have to get some sort of attachment to convert the AUX input and it cost around $130 CAD. Obviously I have no idea about this sort of stuff. I just want get the best sound for the unit without spending a ton of cash.
Any suggestions on what is true and how I should proceed?
Thanks,
B

There should be a cable or interface device to plug into the back of the radio. It uses the CD/Aux input, but unfortunately you may lose the CD changer functionality (depending if the changer is in the radio itself or in the trunk).

If the choice winds up between a wired FM transmitter and plugging into an aux. mini headphone jack, the FM transmitter will sound 100x better.
A connection through a changer port is fine.
