well i have a double din from my last car do i guess i can be a guinea pig and try it out. i know a shop that works with custom car interiors so i can work with them and if all works, i'll get back and post a pic of the finish product

Sure... Good luck with that... Be prepared to pay more for the custom work than you did on the HU, or at least close to it...

this is the single din unit, looks like it would be a tough fit for a double din with cutting if you want to keep you *****.


might just have to do the lower bin and call it a day

The lower cubby kit also has to be modified, but not as extensively. It's a really bad location for a touch screen, trying to drive and use that is a nightmare. Why not just use a single DIN flip out? That's what I have now

i know im not brandon but there was/is a guy on gen7accord who made a double din he wanted/wants 750, theres a new guy on it now making a single din to replace the stock radio screen that way you get the oem ***** and such. no word if hes gonna mass produce but its an interesting bulid.

one problem with the lower bin is some one can rip it right out.

all i seen are flip-outs, double din are just not in the plans for a 7th gen

Honda Accord Kit 2003-up, chassis size E at Crutchfield.com

thats the single din but i am pretty sure that metra also makes a double din.

You can definitely put a double din in a 99 accord sedan right? There looks to be just enough room for one, I might have to do a little fab work, but it shouldn't be too bad I don't think.. Has anybody put a double din in a 99 accord or an accord of the same body type?
