I put a double-din in a 1998 accord sedan. It goes right in, no issues. I highly recommend getting the mounting bracket that honda supplies when you put in the CD accessory. Otherwise, you'll have to do a little bit of metal fab.

I don't know if anybody else makes these brackets, the '98 I bought used already had the Honda CD below the radio, so I was able to reuse. Everything else went smooth as a whistle.

One hint - I have to go back and redo; I put the GPS antenna on top of the dash, using the hole in front next to the windshield: the GPS antenna will probably work inside the dash; no need to put it on top. It looks ugly and there's no place to really fasten it without it looking terrible. So I'll pop the dash off and move it inside the dash.
