Why would you trade a sub amp for a speaker amp?

Lol there is no difference between those amps. Boss is about the worst amp you can get, both those amps can prolly only putout 500w or so cleanly, if that. Not to mention a digital(D class) amp is much more efficient than a switching amp(A/B). The hifonics amp will definitely be better, but still not a good amp. I had a hifonics amp for about a week. Hifonics used to be good, but not for a long while.

EDIT: I'm sorry I thought you were saying both amps were Boss. Just stick with your amp. Hifonics like to burn so for all you know that amp could be on the verge of dieing. I'm not at all familiar with your amp, but you will know how good it is by how much you paid for it.

I had a 15" CVR and they are on the muddy side. I'd go as far as saying the L7 has better SQ. There's really no point in screwing him over trading those two 12"s for the CVR. You can get a 15" CVR for $100 brand new, so it's not like it's really worth something. I doubt he would do it anyways.

EDIT: How is this an amp emergency? If your amp isn't smoking it's not an emergency
