it was an emergency...at the time...needed info rather quick because i prolly would have wound up doing somethin dumb and costly....didnt have time to research so i needed a quick answer....so it was a emergency...not really life threatening...or car threatening...jus costly

plus i really dont want a CVR that bad as to buy one..im still saving for a CVX..i jus thought if i could get one for the time being for free why not?

Just for the record - Profile makes pretty solid amps. Granted they have no bells or whistles and wont make a whole lot more than their rated power but they are build well and you will get the power you paid for cleanly. They are the best entry level amp IMO.

And dont underestimate an L5 and especially an L7. Id run either of these in my SQ setup without much hesitation. Are they as good as a W6? Nah, but they make a ton of output and they do sound pretty good.
