Hi, I'm looking into replacing my front speakers on my 2006 Accord EX-L. I'd like to get the 6 1/2 ones with higher sensitivity since I won't be replacing my stock stereo any time soon. Any suggestions?

I run Fosgate component speakers and I love them. The run around $200.00 and I've found mine at best buy and stereo shops as well. Here's a link to them. I would suggest them just because the crispness and clarity is amazing even with low input and they can handle a decent amount of power so they will last you through an upgrade.

Thanks for the suggestion. I looked at the Fosgate speakers and they look nice. I noticed though that these speakers are quite deep and i'm afraid that it might need some major mods to make it fit.

Has anyone have any experience with Infinity kappas 6 1/2 3 way? They're 2 ohms and have a higher sensitivity which looks ideal for stock speakers (without an external amp). Just wondering if anyone has installed these kappa speakers.....

 

I didnt try the Infinity yet but I came across this Pioneer when searching for my front speakers .. from the description, it seems like they're a decent speakers

I don't know if you have already done this yet, but different speakers work better for different people. Go and listen to the fosgates and the infinity's. The Fosgates should have more bass, but the infinity's should be a better sounding musical speaker. The infinit's are more efficient, but the fosgates will play louder if properly powered. I prefer the Infinity's myself, but it just depends on what you ear tells you. Good Luck!
