Default Good 6x9

I already have a pioneer head unit fosgate 1500 watt amp with two 10 inch. 5500 MTX subs.

So my question is what are some good 6x9's I could get?

You could look into the Infinity Kappas like mentioned earlier. JL makes a good model (TR series) for around the same price. I've heard a lot of people really enjoy the CDT 6x9's.

also dynamat the doors or wherever you are installing the speakers into. this can make a great speaker sound incredible. and thats really the sound you need to be going after. if you just have a bunch of boomy distorted bass banging out of your trunk..dont waste your money on high fidelity speakers. your sound spectrum should look like a monsterous but absolutely equilateral triangle high to low from top to bottom...not one frequency should be missing or overemphasized.. and if you want some more shake, put a transducer under each one of your front seats.

Yes, infinity kappa's are an awesome 6x9, most likely one of the better brands to get. I've been running memphis 6x9's which are run best off a decks power. But those are going to be changed due to my choice of being in a group thats going into car audio competition....... http://www.fusioncaraudio.com/produc...&product_id=82 These are my next set of 6x9's........ Anyone had dealings with fusion audio before?

YES... well said all .... i have Infinity Kappa all around ... but i unfortunetly don't have 6x9 in the back ... i have a 6.5" component substituting until i can get it.... but if you choose to go with Infinity... I recommend using a decent 4 channel amplifier for juice that your HU can't give them to perform with the power and SQ that they are capable of... your next choise would be Focal if your willing to spend the money... lol [:-]
